Best bars to visit during Milan Design Week

It is hard to decide what bars are the best when we talk about such city as Milan. The city that oozes class and the famous fashion houses boast their own ultra-chic bars, restaurants, and hotels, whilst the cocktail bars are amongst the best in Europe. But here you can find the ones that in our opinion are the best during the Milan design week.

The first bar that we should share about with you is Nobu Milan. It was opened in 2000 and is located within the Emporio Armani Store in the peaceful and aristocratic neighbourhood of Via Pisoni, 1. The sophisticated restaurant interior design is decorated with a simple elegance that combines the Armani style with traditional Japanese design.

Fioraio Bianchi is a small, cute, and cosy bar filled with natural elements. It gives a gorgeous natural shape and decorates entire place together with wooden furniture. One of the best solutions to create modern interior.

Bar Basso

Bar Basso is a Milan mainstay – since 1947 this historic haunt has been slinging cocktails to locals. The bar’s trademark drink is the Negroni Sbagliato, which was invented here. It is made with Campari, sweet vermouth, and Prosecco (instead of gin, a typical ingredient in a classic Negroni). Today Bar Basso offers more than 500 different mixed drinks, including the infamous Mangia e Bevi – a hazelnut ice cream-based cocktail that made its name in the 60s.

Bulgari

A generous oval bar in black resin dominates this cocktail bar in Milan, set against a spectacular glass wall that opens onto the serene luminosity of the private garden. A meeting place not only for hotel guests but for in-the-know Milanese, the cocktail hour takes on the flavour of the classic Italian aperitive, with a wide choice of traditional and innovative drinks, including the exclusive Bulgari Cocktail.
