AD Design Show is almost ready to take over New York so today we’re taking a journey through some of New York best bars, just in time to plan a few days to visit this design trade show and discover more about the city that never sleeps!
In the early evening, the height of this dreamy, overgrown rooftop bar affords a regal view of the incredible West Side buildings and the amazing horizon, lending the place the feel of a garden party lost in time.
Aldo Sohm Wine Bar
Located in midtown and inspired by each city block, Aldo Sohm Wine Bar embodies the energy of New York with the laid back atmosphere of Aldo’s own living room. Designed with wine director Aldo’s relaxed approach to good food and wine in mind, we invite you to drink, eat, share, relax and enjoy.
The NoMad Bar
The NoMad Bar radiates the conviviality and warmth of a classic New York City tavern. The casual menu, which draws inspiration from traditional pub fare, is rooted in the style and foundation of The NoMad and Eleven Madison Park. This fireplace-lit space goes back to the late 19th century when the area was dubbed the Tenderloin due to its casinos, brothels and crime. Comes with no surprise that the bar is the craziest of the hotel’s bunch, a dazzling anomaly of a pub.
Please Don’t Tell is one of the most exclusive bars in New York City, having its entrance hidden behind an old phone booth inside Crif Dogs. You just have to pick up the receiver and a hostess will open the back wall of the booth. Yes! PDT is that awesome!
A relaxed and industrial-inspired bar interior decor, where you can feel a little bit something of the great tv classics such as Frasier and Cheers, Attaboy is undoubtedly one of the best bars in all the city!
Bar Sixtyfive is a stunning bar interior design project, adjacent to the iconic Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of the Rockefeller Center. And while the prices might not be for everyone, the drinks and the food are most definitely worth it!
If you are thinking about spending a night at Huckleberry Bar, you should know that its owners, Andrew Boggs and Stephanie Schneider, have created an experience that will make all your dreams come true. From choice beers, an ace wine selection, serious cocktails and respectable eats, you will find everything to make your party the party of the year!
If you are in for the drinks, you will find the very best of them at Leyenda bar! Although it is usually always packed, you can still try to secure your place and get inside Ivy Mix and Julie Reiner’s bar.
